Dear colleagues,

A co-organized session from ST6.1/EOS16/NH9.14/PS5.6 entitled “Raising and maintaining awareness of our local space weather: education and public outreach” will be held in the next EGU General Assembly, for one day between 27 April to 2 May 2014 ( EGU2014 ).

This session will provide an excellent opportunity to share experiences, establish current knowledge, describe the many applications, present recent advances and discuss future possibilities, emerging ideas, different approaches and new strategies for raising and maintaining awareness of our local space weather with a view to education and public outreach.

Abstracts should be submitted through the online system here no later than 16 January 2014.

The deadline for financial support application is coming on 29 November 2013.
