Dear colleagues,
We would like to invite you to submit an abstract to this COSPAR session, to be held in Florence, Italy, 1-9 August 2026.
This session offers an opportunity to review advances in solar and stellar prominences as laboratories for investigating cool, partially ionized plasmas. Leveraging multi-viewpoint data from Solar Orbiter and ground-based facilities, we will address prominence formation, stabilization, and the loading and drainage of plasma in partially ionized fibrils. We welcome contributions on their structuration and coronal interaction through observations, numerical simulations, seismology, MHD, and radiative transfer modelling.
Details of the session can be found here: https://www.cospar-assembly.org/admin/session_cospar.php?session=1481
