***PLEASE REGISTER IF PLANNING TO ATTEND***

Abstract deadline: 23 October 2015 (see below)

This one-day meeting will provide a forum for the UK Science Community to come together and discuss their ambitions for science with the SKA and its pathfinders. It follows the first SKA Key Science Workshop in Stockholm and will provide an opportunity to disseminate the outcomes from that workshop within the UK community as well as widen the understanding of SKA capabilities within the UK community and help interested people to get involved.

We would like to invite talks on science that is currently being done or planned with the SKA pathfinders and precursors. We particularly welcome talks on science with ASKAP, MeerKAT/KAT-7, as well as LOFAR, MWA and others. The deadline for abstract submission is Friday October 23. Please send all abstracts to ska-science-abstracts@manchester.ac.uk
The UK SKA science meeting will be held at The Place, Manchester, 2 mins walk from Piccadilly train station. Lunch and refreshments will be provided during the meeting at no charge and the scientific presentations will be followed by a drinks reception to continue discussions in a more informal setting.

For those who wish to stay a little longer discounted rooms are available at The Place for meeting participants, with shared two bedroom apartments available for those wishing to minimise costs. Arrangements to visit the SKA Offices at Jodrell Bank can be made for anyone who wishes to do so on the adjacent days.

We would like to thank our sponsors CISCO systems and STFC for supporting the UK science community.
