Changes to PPRP and PRD processes
Following on from a review of the Project Research and Development (PRD)
Scheme and Project Peer Review Panel (PPRP) processes carried out in 2009,
STFC has implemented a number of changes to improve the PPRP and PRD
processes. The Review recommended that the definition of the PRD scheme
needed to be clarified and that improvements could be made to both the PPRP
and PRD processes with regard to clarifying and tightening the guidelines to
ensure an effective and timely review process for both proposers and
reviewers. The changes will come into effect from 1 January 2011.
