DiRAC Calls for Proposals

The DiRAC Project Management Board has changed the DiRAC allocation periods to align with the other DiRAC activities, so the RAC year now runs from 1 January to 31 December instead of 1 December to 30 November. This means the closing dates for the calls have changed. The closing date for the fourth DiRAC Call for Proposals will be 3 March 2014 and the closing date for the fifth call will be 3 September 2014.

The project classifications have also changed. Instead of Large and Small Projects there will now be Long and Short Projects. The upcoming fourth call will be open to Short Projects, Discretionary and Seedcorn proposals. Long Projects should apply to the fifth call in the autumn. There have been some other minor changes to the application form and guidance notes.
