We would like to congratulate Dr Giulio Del Zanna, who has become an honorary visiting professor at the School of Physics and Astronomy, University of Leicester.

Giulio has been a key member of our Solar community for many years both as a leading Atomic Physicist and key contributor to the CHIANTI project, and it is great news he has received this recognition. He will continue working at DAMTP in Cambridge but also use this 3-year position to build links with Leicester.
