Dear UKSP colleagues,
Please note the call for nominations to RAS Council. We strongly encourage members of the Solar Physics community to nominate colleagues for election – or to persuade colleagues to nominate you. UKSP is very appreciative of the contributions of members of our community who are retiring from Council this year – especially Lyndsay Fletcher, who has served us and the wider astronomy/geophysics community excellently as “G” Secretary. This important role is now up for election, as well as up to 3 ordinary Councillor position in the “G” area.
If you are thinking of standing, or of nominating anyone, it would be very helpful to let the UKSP Chair know in advance (p.browning@manchester.ac.uk), so we can have some overview.
