We are happy to announce that the submission deadline is extended till the 31st of January, 2015.

All submitted manuscripts will be fully refereed. To assist the ASR Editors, Professor Valery M. Nakariakov and Dr Manolis K. Georgoulis will act as Guest Editors for this Issue.

We solicit manuscripts on various aspects of solar physics research for inclusion in this SI of ASR. Online submission via the ASR on-line submission system (http://www.journals.elsevier.com/advances-in-space-research/) will end on 31 January 2015.
In order to respect all contributions, deadlines for submission, refereeing and proofing will be strictly kept. The anticipated final date for all accepted and proof-read contributions included in the SI is 30 June 2015. Accepted late papers due to submission delays or protracted refereeing may appear individually in later ASR volumes.
