The Solar and Magnetospheric Theory Group at the University of St Andrews has an opening for a Research Assistant to work in the field of solar or magnetospheric physics. Funded by an STFC Consolidated Grant, this project will mainly be in collaboration with Drs V Archontis, D Mackay and A Wright and Profs I De Moortel, A Hood, T Neukirch and C Parnell. Applications are sought from all areas of solar and magnetospheric physics. You should have completed or expect to obtain shortly a PhD in either solar physics or magnetospheric physics or a closely related subject.
This post is initially for a term of 18 months. The start date will be 1 October 2014 or as soon as possible thereafter.
