The Solar Physics Group at Trinity College Dublin invites applications for a 2-year Postdoctoral Research Fellowship. The aim of the project is to develop image processing methods to understand the evolution of photospheric and coronal magnetic fields in sunspot groups, and to investigate the relationship between sunspot magnetic fields and the production of solar flares.
Applicants should send a CV, the names of two professional references, and a short cover letter to Prof. Peter Gallagher. The deadline for applications is November 1, 2012. An annual gross salary of €32,000 will be paid to the Fellow.
