Available until 31 January 2018 in the first instance, to undertake a number of duties within the Astrophysics Research Centre of the
School of Mathematics and Physics involving the testing and commissioning of cameras for the DKIST solar telescope. Informal

Located within ARC, the QUB Solar Physics Group is part of the UK-DKIST Consortium which will deliver the detectors for the DKIST
instruments in the visible part of the electromagnetic spectrum. The successful candidate will work in collaboration with our industrial
partner and the National Solar Observatory in the USA to assist with the characterisation and
commissioning of the detectors. He/she will be responsible for contributing to project deliverables in a timely fashion.
